报告摘要

  We investigate multimessenger probes of the complex singlet extension of the Standard Model (CxSM) in scenarios featuring a strongly first-order electroweak phase transition. Such a transition can simultaneously generate stochastic gravitational waves, trigger primordial black hole formation, and induce measurable deviations in the Higgs triple coupling. The resulting phenomenology is strongly shaped by the scalar mass spectrum, including regions with near-degenerate Higgs states that can significantly affect both cosmological and collider signatures.

  We analyze the interplay among these observables and demonstrate that gravitational wave detectors, microlensing surveys, and future lepton colliders provide complementary and powerful avenues for testing the model. In addition, the CxSM contains a viable dark matter candidate, enabling current dark matter searches to further constrain its parameter space.

Our results highlight the power of a multimessenger approach for probing electroweak-scale new physics and uncovering the rich phenomenology of singlet-extended Higgs sectors.

嘉宾简介

  Chikako Idegawa is a postdoctoral researcher at Sun-Yat Sen University (SYSU). She received her Ph.D from Ochanomizu University in 2024 and has worked at Ochanomizu University as a postdoctoral researcher until joining SYSU in 2024. Her research interests focus on particle phenomenology, in particular electroweak baryogenesis and its phenomenological implication. She has published papers in PRD, PLB, NPB, and so on.
